- Sunflower seeds should be sown approximately 1 inch deep.
- Plant seeds 9-12 inches apart.
- Plant sunflower seeds in a site that is full sun with average fertility and drainage.
- Sunflowers will bloom in approximately 50-60 days.
- Post your bloom on the Fish Sunflowers Facebook page or hashtag us on Instagram, #FishSunflowers.
- Please Note: Taller, larger sunflower varieties have a large taproot to keep them rooted and do not do well when they are transplanted, so direct sowing of those varieties is recommended.
